Abstract: Linear systems of partial differential equations with constant coefficient matrices are considered. The matrices multiplying the derivatives of the sought vector function are assumed to be singular. The structure of solutions to such systems is examined. The numerical solution of initialboundary value problems for such equations by applying implicit difference schemes is discussed.
