V. N. Chugunov Institute of Numerical Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences, ul. Gubkina 8, Moskow, 119991 Russia
Abstract:
The normal Toeplitz-plus-Hankel problem is the problem of characterizing all the normal matrices that can be represented as sums of a Toeplitz and a Hankel matrix. Particular solutions of this problem are given for the case where both the Toeplitz and the Hankel summands are circulants or skew-circulants.
Key words:
normal Toeplitz-plus-Hankel problem, circulant, skew-circulant, particular solutions to matrix equation.
