Features of wave packets in the plane Poiseuille–Couette flow

Abstract:
Within the framework of the triple-deck theory, it is shown that the growth of the relative wall velocity in the Poiseuille–Couette flow leads to perturbations splitting into two wave packets, of which one grows faster and propagates at a higher velocity.
