Abstract:
In this paper, doubly diffracted fields by the strip with half soft and half hard boundary conditions on the upper face and totally hard boundary condition on the lower face are investigated by using spectral iteration technique with Wiener–Hopf method. The effects of the non-symmetrical end edges of the strip to the doubly diffracted field created at the edge (junction) on the upper face of the strip are studied. Numerical results are presented for the different parameters of the problem.
