D. A. Shirobokov Federal Research Center "Computer Science and Control", Russian Academy of Sciences, 119991, Moscow, Russia
Abstract:
An unstructured finite volume method of third-order accuracy in space is considered. A detailed description of the method is given as applied to the continuity equation. The method is used to compute the unsteady viscous compressible gas flow past a sphere at small Reynolds numbers.
Key words:
finite-volume method, unstructured meshes, Navier–Stokes equations, flow past a sphere.
