L. B. Klebanov

Charles University
References:
Abstract: The notion of general families of thinning operator is proposed. The main aim of such notion is to allow normalization of integer-valued random variables inside of the given class. Some examples of the families of thinning operators are given.
Key words and phrases: integer-valued random variables, thinning operators, Sibuya distribution, Poisson distribution.
