Cyclic sets of numbers and lattices

The sets $\{q^n,d\}$, where $d$ is not a normal number, and the sets $D^\lambda\Lambda$, where $D$ is a diagonal matrix and $\Lambda$ is a lattice in $\mathbb{R}^n$, are investigated.
