Three-chambered cochlea model

S. M. Novoselova
Abstract: Three chambered cochlea model with basilar and Reissener's membranes (BM and RM) is calculated. The parameters of the model are maximally closed to the physiological data. The anisotropic stiffness values of BM and RM obtained from Bekesy's hair probe experiments are used. The dependence of basilar membrane responoe on the Reissner's membrane anisotropic stiffness is analysed. The effect of some another cochlear mechanical parameters is studied.
