Classification of rotational states of a closed string with massive points

Abstract:
For the closed relativistic string with $n$ point-like masses the rotational states (uniform rotations of the system) are classified. These states are divided into three classes: hypocycloidal, linear and central states. Specific features of these classes are studied.
