Heat and mass exchange between a wall and plasma flow in presence of cooling gas injection through porous materials

Abstract:
The system of active thermal protection under the conditions of plasma flow affecting at presence of strong injection of a cooling gas is studied experimentally. The observational dependence of dimensionless wall temperature on the injection parameter is obtained. The experimental data are compared with Yu. V. Polezhaev’s (one-dimensional, stationary, onetemperature) mathematical model.
