Building of orientation modes on Yamal-200 communication satellite without angular speed sensors
N. N. Sevast'yanov Tomsk State University
Abstract:
The possibility to build orientation modes without angular speed sensors is considered. In addition to traditional controlling modes using angular deviations signals derived from the orientation sensors, the possibility of control on the computed value of the angular velocity is investigated. The possibility of such control, which is based on the law of conservation of angular momentum is shown; management modes of this kind are called “prognosis” and they are essentially management modes by inertial information.
Keywords:
angular position sensors, kinetic momentum of the satellite, calculated angular velocity, orientation modes.
