Studying the stress-strain state of the bone volume under axial compression

T. V. Kolmakova

Tomsk State University
References:
Abstract: The results of computer simulation of the stress-strain state of a bone volume comprising a compact and spongy layers of different densities and undergoing axial compression are presented. Influence of changes in structural layers' densities on the change in range limits of stress and strain distributions in the bone volume and in its structural components is investigated.
Keywords: Computer simulation, compact bone tissue, spongy bone tissue, stress and strain state.
