Abstract: A mathematical model and calculation results for the problem of the cavitator motion in a liquid in the supercavitation mode are presented. The mathematical model is based on Euler equations for an ideal compressible fluid. The system of equations was solved with Godunov's method. The pressure and density distributions, as well as cavity shapes, have been obtained for different velocities of the flow around the cavitator.
Keywords: supercavitation, hydrodynamics.
