Modeling the process of peat ignition

Abstract:
A new formulation and numerical solution of a problem on ignition of a layer of peat as a result of action of the center of a local creeping fire is proposed on the basis of mathematical model of a porous reacting environment. It is obtained that ignition of an initial reagent is determined by processes of drying, peat pyrolysis, oxidation reaction of carbon oxide, and moisture content.
