Abstract:
One of the approaches to the problem of controlling soil acidity is considered. Liming is a highly effective method of soil amelioration. The main purpose of liming is the elimination of excess acidity. The rate of soil acidity increasing (declining pH) depends on environment reaction. The average annual increase of soil acidity is usually studied. In this connection it is possible to describe the dynamics of decline in pH as a controlled stochastic process. Assuming that the transfer function of this process depends on the unknown parameter, we come to the problem of synthesis of optimal strategies for dynamical systems with the lack of information that is needed to build the optimal control. The procedure for synthesis of optimal strategies, based on a recursive method for calculating the conditional densities is suggested. To test the adaptation algorithms we propose a method for simulating a random process. Bibliogr. 9.
