Abstract:
At reptiles of the Volga basin as a result of helminths' researches lead from 1996 to 2008 17 species of parasites were registered, which basic hosts are predatory fishes, amphibious, birds and insectivores. Practically all adult forms of finding parasites can develop in facultative hosts–reptiles and on a degree of development do not differ from these parasites from the basic hosts. Ability of helminthes to puberty in facultative hosts has the certain value in preservation of parasitic species and their distribution.
