Abstract:
Physical and mechanical properties and structural transformations of aluminium and its allows after treatment by the low-energy plasma for helium glow discharge are studied by several experimental methods. Plastic properties of aluminium and its magnumcontaining allows improved due to increase of homogeneity of plastic deformation with gas bubbles after discharge transformation by low-energy helium ions. It was stablished that under consequent heat treatment two concurrent processes occur in aluminum — metastable solid solution destruction and gas voidity evolution.
Keywords:
plasma treatment, low-energy helium ions, aluminium and allows, plasticity, structure, metastable solid solution, helium microbubbles.
