Abstract:
The cycle of experimental and theoretical researches on influence of thermal loads on a relaxation of residual stresses in hardened layer of the cylindrical and vee-notched specimens from steel EI 691 is executed. It is shown that the residual stress relaxation is caused by the creep. The design procedure of residual stress relaxation in the conditions of creep phenomenon is resulted. Results of the experimental and calculated data are analysed.
