Abstract:
Tension with torsion of a hollow cylindrical sample within the mechanical system structure consisting of two elastic cylindrical rods, transmitting loading on a sample is studied. System stability is determined by methods of catastrophe theory and theory of differentiated mapping peculiarities for soft and rigid loadings.
Keywords:
Hessian, Jacobian of mapping, critical points and critical values, stability, a discriminantal cone, rigid and soft loading.
