The Dynamic of Melt Snow-Ice Cover

Abstract:
Melting snow is seen as a solid three-phase medium consisting of water, air and ice. The mathematical model based on equations of conservation of mass for each of the phases with phase transitions, equations of motion of the phases in the form of Darcy's law and the equation of heat balance of snow.
