Methods of Ice Reinforcement For Creation of Ice and Ice-Soil Composites

Abstract:
Method of physical and mechanical ice properties regulation are addressed for creation ice and ice-soil composites. The review of the methods is presented. It is shown that now new effective methods of reinforcement and creation of ice and ice-soil composites are devised, which could be successfully used for building retaining low permeable structures of soil dams to replace conventional materials in cold regions.
