Flutter of a cylindrical shell subjected to an internal supersonic gas flow

A. V. Vasil'ev

Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics
Abstract: The well-known piston theory formula for the excess aerodynamic pressure is used in the majority of works devoted to the panel flutter of shells. In this paper, we consider the solution of the problem on the flutter of a cylindrical shell with internal flow by supersonic gas flow in a new formulation.
Key words: flutter, cylindrical shell, internal flow.
