The shape of the crater formed by an explosive wedge-shaped cord charge on the ground surface

Abstract:
The problem of explosion of a wedge-shaped line charge on the surface of the ground is studied within the solid–liquid formulation of the pulse-hydrodynamic model. The general solution to the problem is constructed. A parametric analysis is performed. The dependence of the profile and dimensions of the explosion crater on the governing parameters is analyzed.
