Laws of rolling simplexes (feild equations according to Tycho Brahe)
Yu. P. Razmyslov Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics
Abstract:
Models of central power fields with quadratic dynamics suggested by René Descartes are studied. These examples gradually lead the reader to the understanding of base notions of differential algebraic-geometric theory of Brahe–Descartes–Watson including central fields whose dynamics is formed by planar affine algebraic curves of degree not exceeding $N$ ($N=1,2,3,\ldots$).
Key words:
