Motion of airsol particles in a one-dimensional corona discharge

L. T. Chernyi, N. L. Vasil'eva
Abstract: We study the steady motion of airsol particles in the area of a unipolar corona discharge between two electric grids. We give some equations for the motion of the particles and the corona discharge equations. We find an expression for the velocity of the particles in the gap between the grids. As a result we prove that the velocity of the particles, as a function of the radius, has a maximum.
