Self-similar solution of the problem of extraction of residual petroleum from a porous medium by thick micellar slugs

Abstract: Self-sharpening solution based on the model which is an extension of Buckley–Leverett analysis and applies to represent the tertiary oil recovery is constructed for the problem of displacement of residual oil from homogeneous porous media by large micellar slugs.
