Wave motion of a three component medium under a load running along a plane boundary

Kh. A. Rakhmatulin, A. K. Dzhashakueva
Abstract: The paper presents a solution of the problem of the penetration into a half-space of a three-component medium of a variable-profile load running along its boundary. Assigning a shock wave in an air-water-quartz medium, the shape of a load on the boundary is determined. It is found that the boundary load is transmitted by a shock wave at high propagation velocities for a considerable depth exceeding twentyfold its length.
