Full-text PDF (577 kB) Citations (8)
Abstract: The paper describes a numerical experiment for determining the growth of a magnetic field in a three-dimensional flow with exponential particle dilatation at Reynolds numbers of the order of 60. In a certain range of Reynolds numbers, an exponential growth of the field is revealed, which changes to decay as the Reynolds numbers increase. The calculations are carried out by the Galerkin method taking into account approximately 20,000 harmonics.
