A model of the request handling process by a Web-site management system

M. Y. Bykov

National Research University of Electronic Technology
Abstract: Web-site management systems become widely used when building complicated Web-systems and provide various functional possibilities;, however, being an additional superstructure above a Web-server, they require extra computing cost. In order to design a software-hardware configuration for a certain server or to formulate appropriate requirements for a site management system, it is necessary to have a mathematical model of the request handling process by such a system. An above-type model based on queuing theory is described.
Keywords: model, Web-site management system, queueing system модель; система управления сайтами; система массового обслуживания.
