Abstract: Continuous wavelet transforms are computed with the aid of optimal Filon-type quadrature formulas. In order to visualize the results of wavelet transforms, we use the MathCad package whose capabilities allow one to represent visually the properties of signals. The work was supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (project Nos. 05-01-00984 and 04-02-17259).
Keywords: wavelet transforms, quadrature formulas, visualization, integral transforms.
