Modeling of floating ice vibrations during plane landing on ice airdromes

A. A. Kuleshov, V. V. Mymrin

Institute for Mathematical Modelling, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow
Abstract: The problem of floating ice vibrations under dynamic loadings is considered. The problem is described by the model of transverse vibrations for thin elastic plates. The finite-difference method for its solving is given. Some results of numerical simulation for the applied problem devoted to the heavy transport plane landing on ice airdromes in Antarctica are discussed.
Keywords: model of a thin elastic plate; transverse vibrations; difference method; numerical simulation.
