Solution of the optimal ship route problem in the framework of the OKEAN geoinformation system

B. N. Ivanov

Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok
Abstract: An approach to the calculation of optimal ship routes under the meteorological conditions of navigation is considered. The problem is solved in the framework of the OKEAN geoinformation system. The obtained results are used in operational practice. A mathematical model for the grid area construction of the navigation water area and an optimal algorithm for the land-sea location of grid area nodes are proposed. The optimal route search is performed in the framework of the constructed grid area. The algorithm for computing the optimal route is based on the modified Dijkstra algorithm. The implementation of the algorithm allows its using for any water area of the Earth's surface.
Keywords: location of grid area nodes; optimal ship route; shortest route.
