Abstract:
The results of simulation of characteristics of atmospheric $\gamma$- and $\beta$-radiation fields due to
radioactive decay of soil radionuclides are represented. Monte-Carlo method was used for
simulation. Secondary radiation and cascade nature of radiation interaction with air were
taking into account. Features in vertical profiles of $\gamma$- and $\beta$-radiation absorbed doses and
flux densities in ground atmosphere are discussed in detail.
