Algorithmic and software support in the system of fishing control using selective light sources

Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the problems associated with the deterioration of the ecological situation in the Caspian basin, the task of developing the systems for ordinary sprat fishing (Clupeonella delicatula) is set. For the design of the automated control system of fishing, the information criteria taking into
account the factors such as noise effect generated at the depth of the fishing horizon by the moon radiation,
as well as noises caused by the reflection of light of the underwater source from the sea surface and the bottom, are chosen. For the first time there were obtained the expressions for the function "signal/noise" in
case of fishing for small and medium depths, which allow to calculate the temperature of the surface and
underwater sources while fishing. Operational management of the fishing can be implemented by adjusting
the temperature of tungsten filament of the surface and underwater light sources, which maximize bandwidth of optical information transmission. As a result of increasing or decreasing the temperature of the
tungsten filament, the range and intensity of the radiation of the source of the light transmitted through the
water and rendering the control action on the subject of fishing also change. The proposed algorithm of the
fishing control actualizes the principle of consistent management of the surface and underwater light
sources, but the transition from one to another unit of the algorithm is based on the processing of visual information on the movement of fish stock in the direction of gear coming from sonar. The software, created
for the implementation of the automated system of sprat catching control, is designed in the object-oriented
programming environment Borland Developer Studio 2006 (Delphi 7) and can run under the operating system Windows XP Professional, as well as the latest versions of Windows.
