Mathematical model for study of fuel consumption in various operational modes of the vessel with wheeled propulsion-steering complex

Abstract:
Monitoring of fuel consumption is one of the most pressing problems in the operation of the fleet. Mathematical model of the complex corpus — power energy plant — propeller of the vessel with wheeled propulsion-steering complex "Sura", allowing connection of the fuel consumption with the dynamic characteristics of the vessel is proposed. The model gives an opportunity to evaluate the value of fuel consumption under different operating conditions (acceleration and deceleration, maneuvering of the vessel, subject to external perturbations) at the design phase. The results achieved by modeling fuel consumption dependence on regimes of the vessel movement, allow us to make a conclusion about the adequacy of the proposed approach.
