Object ontology as a way to form semantic knowledge model of a cargo port

Ontology including terminology base of a cargo port helps to remove semantic uncertainty and to raise competitive capacity of a port. It is achieved by introducing of a general conception apparatus, which can be used by employees of different cargo port structures. Creating and usage of ontologies is one of new informational technologies. Its purpose is to support processes of joint task solution, i.e. possibility to provide the same comprehension of the meaning of terms, their attributes and relations between them by all users.
