Classification of approaches to integration and interoperability of information systems

Three main features, on which you can classify the approaches to the integration of information systems, are distinguished: type, level and method of integration. The notion of interoperability of information systems is disclosed, and two aspects of interoperability are singled out: semantic and structural. The focus on the types of integration is given: information-centric, service-oriented and process-oriented. The classification of integration types is described by means of tuples and set-theoretic approach.
