The use of genetic algorithm for processing FTIR spectra of polymers

Abstract:
A possibility of resolution enhancement of composite molecular spectra using the genetic algorithm is shown. The quality of spectrum reconstruction depending on the noise level, halfwidth, intensity, and the position of components has been investigated for model spectra.
