Effective Hamiltonian of atom-photon cluster in a resonant coherent field
A. M. Basharov Russian Research Centre "Kurchatov Institute", Moscow
Abstract:
The effective Hamiltonian, dipole moment operator and Bloch equations have been obtained for describing coherent transients produced by the resonant interaction of classical electromagnetic wave with atoms and photons localized in microcavity. Optical nutation in an artificial medium of identical atom-photon clusters has been considered as an example of application of the developed theory.
Keywords:
atom-photon cluster, polynomial algebra, Casimir operator, microcavity, Lindblad equations, Tavis–Cummings model.
