Abstract:
This paper discusses essential aspects of the personalized medicine of the future that deal with the computer analysis of signals produced by the human organism in response to different test actions. It is shown that flicker-noise spectroscopy can be regarded as a working tool allowing one to extract the information contained in such signals, which reflects the highly specific nature of the resulting responses. New capabilities of flicker-noise spectroscopy in recognizing specific features of biomedical signals are due to the introduction of information parameters characterizing the signal components in different frequency ranges, and the developed procedures for estimating the parameter values.
