Low-Temperature Relaxation Processes in Porous Membrane Polymers and the Influence of Supercritical Carbon Dioxide on Them
D. I. Kamalova, M. Kh. Salakhov, E. R. Shaimukhametova Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University
Abstract:
Local molecular motion in glassy porous membrane polymers has been investigated by the example of polysulphone and polycarbonate. The mobility of benzene rings in the main chains of the macromolecules has been characterized by the IR spectroscopic method of conformational probes. The obtained results have been compared with the data of other methods on the relaxation transitions in the polymers under study at a temperature lower than the glass transition temperature. The influence of supercritical carbon dioxide on the freezing temperature of the conformational mobility of the probe in the polymer has been studied.
Keywords:
local molecular dynamics, mobility of benzene rings, method of conformational probes, supercritical carbon dioxide.
