Abstract:
This article presents the numerical simulation of icing of pitot tube using the FENSAP-ICE software package. The objectives of this work are to identify the problem areas of the pitot tube, in which there is the greatest increase of ice and its total mass, which is formed on the surface of this device. The results of numerical simulations are compared with experimental research of the pitot tube in an aero-cooling tube.
