Lifetime of charmed particles (A review of experimental data)

Abstract: The basic properties of charmed particles and of the cross sections for their production are briefly reviewed. The experimental data on lifetimes obtained up to the end of 1980 are discussed in detail. The corresponding experimental methods and proposals for future experiments are described.
