Multipulse NMR spectroscopy

Abstract:
Multiquantum coherence and multidimensional homonuclear NMR spectroscopy are reviewed. Various types of multipulse spectroscopy are described: shift correlation spectroscopy (COSY), relayed shift correlation spectroscopy (RCOSY), multiquantum spectroscopy, spin-echo spectroscopy (SECSY), and spectroscopy based on the Overhauser effect (NOESY). Two-dimensional J-spectra, zero-quantum 2D spectra, and methods for obtaining 3D NMR and ACCORDION spectra are also described. The review ends with a brief description of new methods of ID NMR spectroscopy. The discussion is carried out in terms of spin product operators.
