Earth and the Universe. New experiments and theories (Scientific session of the Physical Sciences Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 19 April 2017)

A scientific session of the Physical Sciences Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) entitled “Earth and the Universe. New Experiments and Theories” was held on 19 April 2017 in the conference hall of the Lebedev Physical Institute, RAS.

The following reports were heard at the session:

(2) Litvak M L (Space Research Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow) “Water in the Solar System”;

(3) Izmodenov V V (Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow) “Global structure of the heliosphere. Theory and space observation data”;

(4) Bykov A M (Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg) “Astrophysical objects with extreme energy release: observations and theory”;

(5) Kovalev Yu Yu (Astro Space Center, Lebedev Physical Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow) “Probing the Universe with extreme angular resolution radio interferometry.”
