Abstract:
It is shown that the presence of nanosized and nanostructured erosion products not only affects the operation of thermonuclear devices but also to a large extent determines the safety and economy of future thermonuclear reactors. The formation mechanisms and the characteristics and properties of deposited films and nanosized dust that form in tokamaks are reviewed.
