METHODOLOGICAL NOTES

Classical and quantum irreversibility

B. B. Kadomtsev

Institute of Nuclear Fusion, Russian Research Centre Kurchatov Institute, Moscow, Russian Federation
Abstract: Irreversibility of physical systems is discussed by considering the simplest example of a low-density gas, either in isolation or in thermal equilibrium with the walls of a container. Attention is concentrated on an analysis of a logical scheme for a theoretical description of the irreversibility.
