Abstract: A system is introduced for ecological-economical management of the territory of the Volga-Akhtuba floodplain. The system is built on the basis of hydrodynamic computer simulations and geo-informational technologies. We optimize the flood hydrograph for the Volga hydroelectric station, suggest the optimal plan of the system of channels for Volga-Akhtuba floodplain recovery, and develop control mechanisms for local economic entities.
