Service-oriented architecture: operational risks and choice of efficient system

I. V. Pyrlina

Higher School of Economics
References:
Abstract: We survey existing methods of efficient implementation projects selection for information system with service-oriented architecture (SOA), methods of risks assessment and multi-criteria analysis applied to information systems with SOA. We also suggest a new method to evaluate operational risks due to SOA and develop multi-criteria threshold algorithms to support ranking of information system implementation projects. Methods were used to design a tool consisting of two key subsystems – a simulation environment and a multi-criteria analysis module.
Keywords: multiple criteria threshold algorithm, service-oriented architecture, SOA operational risks, efficiency criteria for information system architecture, project ranking.
