Abstract: We explain the bibliometric approach (forms, methods and citation indicators) to study science, and give examples of bibliometric evaluation of authors, scientific journals, and Russian universities on the basis of information from Web of Knowledge databases ин ISI/Thomson Reuters Scientific.
